Marco Aiello works mainly in the Milan office.
He specializes in corporate law, corporate crisis, banking, insurance, and commercial contracts.
He is an associate professor of commercial law at the School of Economics and Management – Department of Management of the University of Turin, where he teaches courses in commercial law and corporate crisis law.
He has acquired extensive experience in the areas of corporate crisis and insolvency, concerning reorganization plans and restructuring agreements, as well as bankruptcy proceedings (in particular, composition with creditors and extraordinary administration), and extraordinary transactions (including those relating to the acquisition and sale of shareholdings and companies), as well as in the areas of corporate law (with particular regard to profiles that affect the governance, especially those concerning the role of directors and members of the supervisory body), banking law, insurance and relationships between banks and companies.
He has followed, from a legal point of view, numerous and complex negotiations for resolving corporate crises, both supporting the banking system and assisting debtor companies. He also assists those interested in acquiring control of companies in crisis or in acquiring specific assets from them.
He also provides consultancy to credit institutions and financial intermediaries, in the context of credit transfer and securitization transactions.
He is the lawyer of extraordinary administrations and bankruptcies, which he has assisted also with regard to liability actions and the purchase and sale of business units.
