Mr. Polyakov is a Managing Partner at SAPG Legal. Mr. Polyakov was born in the former Soviet Union and was raised in New York, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree from New York University (“NYU”) and his Law Degree from New York Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Polyakov has a solid knowledge of Healthcare and Pharmacy Law. He specializes on complex healthcare matters such as Medicare/Medicaid audits, overpayment appeals, medical license defense, fraud investigations, and medical contracts. Mr. Polyakov also assists pharmacy owners with opening, buying, and selling pharmacies. He also assist’s pharmacy owners take on Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) through audit and overpayment disputes.
Mr. Polyakov also specializes in corporate law, assisting clients in structuring, buying, and selling businesses. He assists business client by drafting and negotiating their employment, vendor, and customer contracts. Mr. Polyakov partners with his business client to plan and implement litigation avoidance strategies.
In addition, Mr. Polyakov is a skilled commercial litigator and handles matters related to breach of contract, fraud, civil RICO, professional negligence, construction, and other complex commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Polyakov understands the issues involved with growing businesses, as well as healthcare and pharmacy industry and works with his clients to ensure that their transactional, defense, and litigation needs are met while understanding the companies’ overall growth strategy. In addition to his legal work, he has taught contract law courses at NYU land at hospitals healthcare law classes at hospitals to residents and fellows. Mr. Polyakov has assisted start-up companies on a pro-bono basis through New York City’s Business Solutions Program.
